First things first, after greeting you with a smile, we will locate all of your air vents and inspect your ductwork and furnace. This helps determine the best way to conduct the cleaning.
Next, we will brief you on the process and confirm the quoted price before getting started (for a quote give us a call or book an appointment online).
Now it’s time to get started! We close off each air vent, turn off the thermostat, and hook up a high powered negative air machine to your furnace (to collect the dust and debris during the cleaning). We use HEPA filtration negative air machines only, to protect your indoor air quality.
Next, we use compressed air and various types of professional air whips, depending on the types of ducts we’re cleaning, to thoroughly clean each branch line leading into the trunk line.
Now it’s time to clean the trunk line. We cut a small hole in the trunk line, insert a special air whip, and clean from the farthest end slowly toward the plenum, pushing the debris into the negative air machine.
Next, we use an air whip to clean the air return line and the plenum. If necessary, we hook our negative air machine directly to the return vent for optimal suction.
Lastly, we seal all access holes in your duct work, sanitize/deodorize your HVAC ducts using a low toxicity, EPA registered solution, pack up our equipment, open up all vents in your home, turn your thermostat on and show you pictures and videos of the dust and debris we removed from the lungs of your home!
